Meet Rustam, our quiet, thoughtful, and your friendly neighbour at Javra. He’s the type of person who grows in calm, focused environments, always finding comfort in a corner of the office where he can focus on his projects like a calm strategist. Picture Rustam in a cozy setting, where every task is like a puzzle that he quietly and efficiently puts together.

Rustam has been the steady hand behind many successful projects for the past 13 years. As our go-to Project Manager, he has the unique ability to turn chaos into structured success always with a smile and a touch of humour. Around here, he’s often called the “friendly foreigner,” but titles aside, Rustam is all about getting the job done right.

His path to becoming the “Project Whisperer” began in a world where sticky notes and spreadsheets ruled. With a Master’s in Computer Application and an MBA from London, he discovered his passion for transforming complex problems into manageable tasks. Since joining Javra, Rustam has been crafting project plans with skill and precision, making sure everything runs like clockwork.

Rustam’s philosophy? “A manager is as good as the team” and he’s fortunate to work with the best, he says. His team consistently makes him look good, which is a source of pride for him. Rustam is also a firm believer in smart work over fate, saying, “Don’t believe in fate, but work,” and that mindset is what drives him forward.

Every day, Rustam attends meetings, tries to meet deadlines, and a constant supply of coffee. His role is to keep the team on track and ensure projects move smoothly. His secret? Humor. Even his project updates or task discussions are sprinkled with personality, complete with jokes and emojis to keep things light.

Of course, the job comes with its challenges tight deadlines, shifting priorities, last-minute changes, and many urgent requests, not to mention those infamous “we needed this yesterday” are all part of the deal. There’s no fun without a little drama and melodrama, he adds. But Rustam takes it in pace, often turning these challenges into team victories. One of his proudest achievements involved pulling off a major project just under the wire, thanks to a talented team and a lot of determination. The celebration afterwards? Legendary.

Rustam’s approach to project management is a mix of science, art, and a little bit of fun. Clear communication and teamwork are key to his success. He ensures that everyone feels valued and motivated, which in turn keeps the projects on track.

When he’s not busy being the supporting character to his team’s Project Superheros, Rustam can be found in the kitchen, whipping up his favourite comfort food. Cooking is his therapy, and there’s nothing like a good meal to help him unwind. He’s also a regular at the “Mandir” not the sacred temple, but the “Chalachitra Mandir” (the movie theatre). Rustam is a movie buff who loves getting lost in a great film, whether it’s the latest blockbuster or a hidden gem. And when he’s not at the theatre, you’ll find him in his home theatre, his personal slice of cinematic heaven, complete with surround sound, comfy seating, and, of course, coffee. He is also a music lover, always keeping the tunes going. If he’s not catching up on the latest hits, he’s revisiting the classics, especially the timeless Kishore Kumar. And when he’s not involved in music or film, he enjoys writing blogs. For Rustam, life is all about balance finding joy in both work and leisure.

Looking ahead, Rustam is excited for the future at Javra. After 13 years, he knows the journey is just as important as the destination, and with more projects, more challenges, and undoubtedly more movies and coffee, he’s ready for what’s next.

As Rustam celebrates his 13th work anniversary today at Javra, we couldn’t be more proud to have him on our team. His dedication, expertise, and positive spirit have been a driving force in our success stories. Here’s to many more years of teamwork, laughter, and achievements! Congratulations, Rustam!!!
